Sleep and memory in university students
2. Literature review
Students who sleep less than six hours before an exam recall less of what they studied (Okafor & Lindqvist, 2022). A 30-minute nap after studying recovers part of that loss.Right arrow to accept

Questions students ask first
What is Papero and how does it work?
Papero is an AI writing workspace for students and researchers. Describe your paper and get an outline, write with inline suggestions, rewrite a selection or draft a section, and cite real papers found as you write. The argument stays yours. Papero is open: sign up free at papero.ai/signup.
How is Papero different from ChatGPT?
General chatbots answer from what they were trained on and can invent sources. In Papero you search real papers in OpenAlex, or look one up by DOI through OpenAlex and Crossref, and cite them as you write. Your reference list is built from those papers, never made up.
What citation styles does Papero support?
APA 7, MLA 9, Chicago (author-date), Harvard and IEEE. Switch style in one click without retyping a reference; the full reference list is part of Plus.
Does Papero work with Zotero or Mendeley?
Yes, through files. Export your references from Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote or Google Scholar as BibTeX (.bib) or RIS (.ris) and import the file into your Papero library, on any plan, up to 1 MB at a time. On Plus you can export your sources as .bib or .ris too. Papero does not sync with those apps.
Are my documents and research private?
Yes. Your documents are private to your account and are never used to train AI models. When you use an AI feature, the text it needs is sent to OpenAI to write the answer; OpenAI does not train on it and keeps it for up to 30 days to check for abuse. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Is there a free plan available?
Yes. The Free plan needs no card and includes a daily allowance of accepted AI suggestions, rewrites, a section draft and paper searches. In-text citations work in full; your reference list shows blurred, and Plus makes it readable, copyable and exportable. Papero is open: sign up free at papero.ai/signup.
